Fishing Rod Transport Vacuum System
The vacuum fly rod rack for trucks was originally designed for the angler who travels from hole to hole by automobile and wishes to transport his valuable and delicate rods without the time and inconvenience of breakdown and re-rigging. The inherent beauty of the fishing rod transport system is that it has two carrier assemblies capable of transporting up to four rods. This vacuum transport system mounts on the car, pick-up or SUV by means of powerful vacuum cups that can be easily attached and removed. The truck fishing rod rack is lightweight and portable enough to pack in your luggage on a fishing trip for use on your rental car. An especially attractive feature of the fishing rod holder for trucks is the open-ended design that allows convenient mounting and removal of the rods.
Magnetic option is also available for ferrous metal vehicles.

Vacuum Cup Specifications
- Vacuum attaching cup designed to secure small loads

- Cup Size: 4 ½” (115 mm) diameter
- Load capacity = 25 lbs. (11.3 kg)
Environmental conditions
Use on clean, relatively smooth, nonporous surfaces in temperatures ranging from 10-120 degrees Fahrenheit (-12 to 49 degrees Celsius). At elevations exceeding 5,000 feet (1,524 meters), the plunger/red line operations may be affected and may indicate a decrease in vacuum level. This condition should be closely monitored. However, field testing at altitudes in excess of 9,500 feet have concluded that any decrease in vacuum level is minimal assuming all other vacuum conditions are present. Avoid excessive moisture or contaminants as this may hinder the surface slip resistance of the cup.
Service
Regularly assure the cup’s air filter is in place. If not, discontinue use until the filter is replaced. If the cup does not function normally, the cup face may be dirty or damaged, or the pump may require service. If problem occurs, clean the cup in accordance with the following directions. If problem persists, contact Gofish Cam for assistance.
Cleaning
- Remove the air filter from the face of the cup.
- Scrub the cup face using soapy water, glass cleaner, or alcohol. Caution: To prevent liquid from contaminating the pump, hold the cup face-down or cover the suction hole in the filter recess.
- Rinse all residue from the cup face.
- Allow cup to dry and reinstall the air filter
Storage
Store in a clean, dry location out of direct sunlight. Protect the cup face from damage using the protective cover when not in use.
